Good Friday

10.00 Traditional cheese rolling down Church Hill. Starts at Kings Arms, finish line at bottom shops. All participants welcome. Bring your own cheese. 

10.05 Harefield Orangemen Easter March up Church Hill from bottom shops to Kings Arms. 

Holy Saturday 

12.00 noon. Charity football match on the common to raise money for the Stop HS2 Rural Guerillas. 

19.00 Folk singer Peter Paulandmary sings Easter folk songs in St. Mary’s Church Hall. Followed by a candlelight supper from the Bombay Curry Garden. 

  
Easter Sunday 

10.00 Church services at St. Mary’s, St. Paul’s and the Baptist Church. 

12.00 noon. Easter bonnet competition in the Harefield Inn, judged by the Reverend Killjoy, Lady Fry de Baconcrispy and Father Cassocklifter. First prize a free haircut in Montgomery’s Barber round the back of the kebab shop. 

  
Easter Monday 

07.00 Twenty four hour charity darts match in the Spotted Dalmation Bed and Breakfast. Spotted Dalmation Old Girls versus the Harefield Hospital Ladies Bowls Club Veterans. In aid of the Anti-Ash Grove Youth Club Fighting Fund. 

12.00 noon. Pubs open all day. Real Ale Festival in the Harefield Inn. Real Lager Festival in the Kings Arms.
